Fixing the Pages Every Candidate Reads Before Saying Yes
A global IT-services company was losing candidates at the last step: the Glassdoor check. Over a ten-month program we removed four hostile employer reviews with before-and-after proof, answered every review on the profile, 44 responses in a single month at peak, seeded genuine positive reviews on AmbitionBox, and suppressed the third-party "review aggregator" pages that recycled the worst of it into the brand's search results. Client identity confidential; numbers from the monthly reports.

Employer Reputation Is Reputation
For a services company, the product is people, and the people read Glassdoor. A handful of hostile reviews, some from disputed exits, were anchoring the profile, while an automated review-aggregator site republished the same content into the brand's Google results, ranking for four variants of the company's reviews search. This engagement, anonymized as always, worked all three layers at once: the platforms, the responses, and the search results.

The Three Layers
Remove what violates policy
Reviews that crossed platform guidelines were reported through the proper channels, and four came down, three from Glassdoor in a single month, one from AmbitionBox, each documented with before-and-after screenshots in the client's report.
Answer everything else
Every review, positive included, received a management response: 28 to five-star and 12 to four-star reviews in one month, alongside the harder conversations. A fully answered profile reads as a company that listens, and it changes how the remaining negatives land.
Clean the search results
The automated aggregator pages recycling old reviews were suppressed or demoted across all four tracked reviews searches, so candidates checking the company found the real, answered profiles instead of a scraper's greatest-hits page.
Removal alone would have left a silent profile, and silence reads as guilt. The combination, removing the policy violations, answering everything, and suppressing the scrapers, is what turned the last-step Glassdoor check from a deal-breaker back into a formality.
