Online Reputation Management in the UAE
Online reputation management in the UAE for executives, business owners, expatriate professionals and companies whose name brings up a negative news story, an old article, a DIFC Courts judgment, a defamatory post or a review they cannot get taken down. We remove negative news and articles where a publisher, host or court will allow it, pursue court-ordered removal and Google de-indexing with our legal partners, and bury what cannot be removed under credible results. Honest odds first, a quote in dirhams, and nothing starts until you approve it.

Tell us the name to check. A specialist reviews what Google.ae shows for it, records every damaging result, and sends you a private report with honest odds for each one.

What We Remove For Clients In The UAE
Six problems bring clients from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the other emirates to us. Each has its own removal route, its own legal angle and its own honest odds, and each card opens the full service page.
Negative News Removal
A story on a UAE or international news site, a Gulf business title or a regional portal that still ranks for your name years after the event. We approach the newsroom under its own policy, correct the record where it is wrong, and suppress what stays.
Negative news removal →Negative Article Removal
Blogs, opinion pieces, listicles and the aggregator copies that repeat a story after the original has been corrected or removed, often on sites hosted far outside the UAE. We work through hosts, authors and Google's own removal routes to get the copies down too.
Article removal →Court-Ordered Removal And DIFC Judgment Links
Where content is defamatory and the publisher will not act, our legal partners in the UAE can pursue a complaint, a judgment or an order, which we then submit to Google and the hosts. We also handle the reverse problem: a DIFC Courts or ADGM Courts judgment that names you and ranks for your name, and the copies of it on legal databases and law firm sites.
Court-ordered de-indexing →Personal Information, Defamatory Posts And Old News
A leaked passport or Emirates ID image, a phone number or address, a defamatory social media post, a forum thread about a business dispute, or an old story about a case that was closed. Each has a different route, from the platform's rules to a police complaint.
Personal information removal →Remove My Name From Google Search
When several results together tell the wrong story about you, we remove the ones that qualify, de-index what Google's policies cover, and build the profiles and pages that take over the first page for your name.
Personal reputation management →Review Platform Removal
Fake, defamatory or policy-breaking reviews on Google, Trustpilot, Glassdoor, Indeed and the Gulf's job and property portals. Reported under each platform's own rules, with the evidence that gets a review taken down, and suppressed where it does not qualify.
Review removal hub →How An Engagement Works From The UAE
Four stages, the same for a Dubai executive, an Abu Dhabi clinic or a Sharjah trading company. Nothing is promised before the assessment shows what is realistic.
Confidential assessment
You send us the name or the links. We record every damaging result on Google.ae, who publishes it, where it is hosted and which removal route applies to each one.
Honest odds and a quote
You get a private report: what can be removed, what can only be de-indexed, what will need suppression, and a quote in dirhams or US dollars. No payment for the assessment.
Approval and the work
Only after you approve the quote and we both sign the NDA does the work begin: publisher requests, platform reports, Google submissions and, where needed, our legal partners in the UAE.
Monitoring and reporting
Results change as pages come down and new ones appear. We keep watching your name, report progress at each stage and act on anything new before it settles on page one.
Why People Ask Us For Online Reputation Management In The UAE
Most people who ask us for online reputation management in the UAE are expatriate professionals and business owners. A finance executive in DIFC whose name sits beside a story about a former employer, a trading company owner named in a forum thread about a dispute that was settled, a doctor or lawyer facing a run of fake reviews, a founder whose old venture is still the first result, or a private individual whose passport image or phone number was posted online. In a market where a name is searched before every hire, partnership, tenancy and visa sponsorship, the first page of Google decides a great deal.
Online Reputation Manage is an independent reputation management firm, established 2017, headquartered in Delhi and working remotely with clients in 20+ countries, the UAE among the largest. We have no office in the UAE, claim no local staff and are not a law firm. What we have is a documented process for negative news removal, article removal, court-ordered de-indexing and name cleanup on Google, legal partners in the UAE for the cases that need one, and working hours that cover Gulf Standard Time in full.
Online Defamation Is A Criminal Matter In The UAE
The UAE treats online insult and defamation differently from most common law countries. Under Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes, publishing content online that insults or defames a person, or that invades their privacy, is a criminal offence rather than only a civil wrong. A victim can file a complaint with the police or the public prosecution, and the authorities have online channels for exactly this. Where content is found to break the law, it can be ordered removed or blocked; what follows for the person who posted it is a matter for the courts and our legal partners, not for a reputation firm.
For removal, this means that a defamatory post, review or article about a person in the UAE can have a legal route that many other countries lack. It also means care is needed: the same law applies to anyone who posts, so our work never involves responding in kind, and we never give legal advice ourselves. Where a case fits, our legal partners in the UAE prepare the complaint, and we run the platform, Google and suppression work alongside it so the search results recover as the content comes down.
Content Hosted Abroad: Blocking, Removal And De-Indexing
The practical reality for most UAE clients is that the damaging content is not hosted in the UAE at all. It sits on a news site in another country, a forum, a review platform, a blog or a social network run from abroad. The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, the TDRA, oversees the framework under which prohibited content can be blocked for users in the UAE, and the country's internet providers apply those blocks. A block stops a page being reached from inside the UAE, but it does not remove the page or change what a partner, bank or employer sees when they search your name from London, Mumbai or New York.
That is why Google removal and suppression matter so much for UAE cases. Google's legal removal process accepts court orders and properly documented defamation claims, and its personal information policies cover doxxing, explicit images, financial and medical details, government identity documents and sites that charge to remove content. A removal under those policies applies to Google search worldwide, not just Google.ae. Where the host is abroad, we also use the host's own abuse process and, where a UAE order exists, submit it to the host and to Google. Our guide to the seven options for removing a news article from Google explains how these routes fit together.
DIFC Courts Judgment Links: What Can Be Removed
A problem that is specific to the UAE, and that international clients raise with us more than any other, is a DIFC Courts link. The DIFC Courts, and the ADGM Courts in Abu Dhabi, publish their judgments and orders in English on their own websites, with the parties named. Because those sites carry so much authority with Google, a judgment often sits on the first page for the name of an individual or a company for years, even when the claim was later settled, paid, discontinued, overturned on appeal or concerned a dispute of no public interest. A director named in an employment claim, a shareholder in a settled commercial dispute, or a company that won its case but still shows up next to the word "judgment" all come to us with the same question: can this link be removed?
The honest answer is that it depends on which link you mean, and there are three.
The judgment on the court's own site. The courts publish as a matter of open justice, so nobody can simply ask for a judgment to be deleted. What the DIFC Courts' own rules and practice directions do allow is an application to the court, made through our legal partners in the UAE, for a judgment to be anonymised, redacted or withheld from publication where there is a proper ground: the protection of a private individual, confidential commercial information, a settled matter, a judgment set aside on appeal, or a listing published in error. Where the court agrees, the page is amended or taken down, and we then use Google's outdated content tool to clear the old copy from search. We give you honest odds on this before anything is filed, because many judgments do not qualify, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Copies on legal databases, law firm sites and news. Judgments are republished by case law databases, summarised in law firm briefings, and reported by the business press, and these copies often rank above the original. Each of these publishers has its own policy, and most will anonymise, update or de-index a copy when the original judgment has been anonymised, when the case was settled or overturned, or when a private individual's name adds nothing to the legal point. This is where most of the practical results come from, and it is ordinary publisher and host work of the kind described on our negative news removal page.
The search result itself. Where a court has ordered anonymisation or removal, Google's legal removal process accepts the order and de-indexes the pages it covers, worldwide. Where no order exists and the judgment stays published, Google will not remove a lawful public court record on request, and we say so plainly. For those cases we suppress: the profiles, company pages, press and content that should represent you take over the first page for your name, and the judgment moves down to where almost nobody looks.
A DIFC link therefore needs an assessment before a promise. We record which of the three links are showing, which route applies to each, what our legal partners would charge for an application if one is realistic, and what suppression would cover in any event. You see all of that, with the odds, before you approve anything.
Personal Data And Privacy
The UAE's Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, gives individuals rights over how organisations handle their personal data, including rights to correction and erasure in general terms, with its own exemptions and with separate regimes in DIFC and ADGM. It is not a general right to have search results about you delisted, and it does not reach a foreign publisher on its own. For a leaked identity document, a phone number, a home address or an intimate image, the faster routes are usually the platform's own rules, Google's personal information removal policy and, where the posting is itself an offence, a police complaint through our legal partners.
Negative News Removal In The UAE
UAE and Gulf newsrooms, and the international outlets that cover the region, generally decline to unpublish, and the request has to be made on grounds the editor will accept: a factual error, a case that was closed, dismissed or ended in acquittal, a story that identifies a victim, a safety risk, or a matter so old and minor that it no longer serves the public interest. Where the outlet keeps the story, many will update it with the outcome, remove a name from the headline, or add a no-index tag so it stops appearing for your name in search. Each of those is a real result, and we tell you which one is realistic before you spend anything. The full approach is on our negative news removal page.
When Removal Is Not Possible: Suppression
Some content is true, lawful and staying up: a regulatory decision, a reported judgment, a story the publisher stands behind. For those we do not promise what we cannot deliver. We build and rank the assets that should represent you instead: a personal or company website, professional profiles, interviews, press in the titles your market reads, and the content people searching your name actually want to find, until these hold the positions the negative results had. Our negative search result removal and personal reputation management services cover this in detail, and our online reputation management services hub shows how removal, suppression and monitoring fit together.
Who We Help In The UAE
The same process serves very different people. These are the clients who come to us most often from the UAE.
Executives And Expatriate Professionals
Finance, property, healthcare, legal and technology professionals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi whose name is checked before every role, partnership, visa sponsorship and tenancy. Stories from a previous country, old disputes and reported departures are the usual problems.
Personal reputation management →Business Owners And Founders
Trading companies, agencies, clinics, restaurants and start-ups dealing with a damaging article, a forum thread about a dispute, an aggregator that repeats a corrected story, or a run of fake reviews on Google and Trustpilot. Removal where it qualifies, suppression and review generation where it does not.
Brand reputation management →Private Individuals
People whose identity documents, phone number or images were posted without consent, or who were named in a defamatory post or an old story about a closed case. We handle these with care, under NDA, and never make the request itself a public event.
Remove my name from Google →Working With A Reputation Firm Outside The UAE
We work with UAE clients remotely, and have since 2017. Here is what that looks like in practice, so there are no surprises.

Gulf Standard Time sits close to our own working day, so your specialist is available throughout UAE business hours, by email, WhatsApp and video call, including the Monday to Friday working week.
NDA And Confidentiality First
Every engagement is covered by a non-disclosure agreement before any work starts. Your name, your links and the fact that you hired us stay private.
Legal Partners In The UAE
We are not a law firm. Where a case needs a cybercrime complaint, a court order or a data protection request, it goes to our legal partners in the UAE, and you know the cost before you agree.
Quotes In Dirhams
Your assessment and quote are itemised per result and priced in UAE dirhams or US dollars. You approve it before anything begins, and there is no payment for the assessment itself.
No Local Office, No Local Mark-Up
We do not claim a UAE office or staff. The platforms, publishers and Google processes we work with are global, so your case is handled by the same specialists who handle every other country.
One Team Across Platforms
News sites, Google, review platforms and hosts each have their own route. One specialist runs all of them for your case, reports progress at every stage and keeps monitoring after the work is done.
